All tours require a moderate amount of semi-strenuous exercise. Participants must be able to climb several flights of stairs. Each participant must be physically and mentally able control their speed on zip lines, which involves hand braking the cable with welding gloves. Participants must also be able to pull themselves along the zip cable several feet in the event they lose their momentum before reaching a platform. Participants must have full range of motion and use of both upper and lower extremities.
This is not recommended for those with moderate to severe respiratory problems, heart problems, musculoskeletal problems, women who are pregnant beyond the first trimester. Tandem zip lining is not permitted tandem rides at all.
Our staff is professionally trained and care about your safety very much. If we do not allow you to participate, please do not take it personal, your safety is our #1 priority.
Banning Mills & Myrtle Beach Zip Line Adventures reserve the right to refuse anyone access to the tours if we feel it would be unsafe for them, our other guests or our staff. Some examples of someone we might turn away would be a guest under the influence of drugs or alcohol, someone who is over the weight limits, someone that will not or can’t understand or obey the rules, and those who are physically unable to do a zip line canopy tour. We do everything in our power to get guests out on a tour and give them safe access to our tours. However, Banning Mills & Myrtle Beach Zip Line Adventures and their staff will have the final say on any participant going out or continuing on a tour.
You will be required to sign a liability release form before going out on the tour. If you would like for us to email a copy to you, just call or email us your request. Minors must have a parent our guardian to sign this form. The minor must sign the waiver also. Again, we can email this form to you so that you can bring a signed copy with you. Just ask us!
Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required. sandals, flip-flops, five-finger shoes and Crocs are not permitted. Refusal due to improper attire will NOT result in a refund. Avoid wearing loose hanging jewelry or accessories. A zipper or velcro waist/shoulder pack, or a wrist/neck lanyard is recommended for anything participants desire to bring. Comfortable, athletic-style clothes are recommended, (Shorts, jeans and outdoor pants).
Cancellation and Transfer Policies
- If a customer requests to cancel his or her reservation 24+ hours in advance, a $20 processing fee will be applied, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the card used to make the reservation.
- If a customer requests to cancel his or her reservation LESS THAN 24 hours in advance, he or she will be obligated to pay his or her balance in full.
- If a customer requests to transfer his or her reservation to a later date 24+ hours in advance, a $10 transfer fee will be applied, and the remaining balance will be returned to the customer on a digital gift card via email. This gift card is valid for FIVE years. Rescheduling reservations is the responsibility of the customer. Gift cards are NOT refundable.
- If a customer requests to transfer his or her reservation to a later time or date LESS THAN 24 hours in advance, he or she will not be permitted to transfer his or reservation and be obligated to pay his or her balance in full.
- DISCLAIMER: Screaming Eagle Adventure Parks cannot guarantee that requested transfers to a later time, with LESS THAN 24 hour’s notice, but will do their best to accommodate.
Group Reservation Policy (10+)
- A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of reservation and 100% payment is required at least 10 days prior to the reservation in reference.
- If a group requests to cancel their reservation LESS THAN 10 days in advance, a processing fee, 50% of the total cost, will be applied to the card used to make the reservation.
- If a group requests to transfer their reservation 24+ hours in advance, a transfer fee, 10% of the total cost, will be applied, and the remaining balance will be returned to the group on a digital gift card via email. This gift card is valid for FIVE years. Rescheduling reservations is the responsibility of the customer. Gift cards are NOT refundable.
- If a group requests to transfer their reservation to a later TIME OR DATE LESS THAN 24 hours in advance, they will not be permitted to transfer the reservation.

We will go out in rain. The only time we will cancel on our behalf is in the case lightning within five miles of the course, sustained winds in excess of 35 mph or any other severe weather event determined at the discretion of management. Myrtle Beach Zip Line Adventures will call each scheduled guest to cancel the tours. Please remember, if we do not call you, that means the tour is a go. Sometimes tours may be delayed for a short time for “pop ups”. Please keep this in mind when planning your day.
