Myrtle Beach Zip Line Adventures is owned and operated by American Adventure Park Systems & Historic Banning Mills. Banning Mills was the first high speed zip line course in the southeast. We have years of experience in the aerial adventure business. All of our guides are all CPR and Wilderness First Aid certified and extensively trained in high-ropes rescue. We meet all ACCT and PRCA guidelines. Our course is internally inspected daily and regularly inspected by an outside ACCT certified inspector. Aerial adventures require certain safety gear to be placed on the guest. This includes: full-body or half-body harness, safety hook, trolley, helmet and gloves. This gear is adjustable. If assistance is necessary when adjusting gear, there may be unintentional touch to lower and upper extremities, waist and head.
It is not mandatory to tip guides. However, Screaming Eagle staff work tirelessly to ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience possible for guests, and happily accepts tips for excellent performance.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards. Your card will be charged at the time of the reservation for the full amount. If you cancel outside the cancellation policy, your card will be refunded in full minus a $20.00 processing fee. If you cancel within the cancellation policies, your card will keep the 50% charge and a $20.00 processing fee with the remainder refunded back to the card used to reserve the tours. No refunds at all for “day of” cancellations and no shows. Cash payment option available. If you wish to pay with cash, it must be prepaid in order to make the reservation. We do not accept personal checks.
If you have 10 or more guests that want to come as a group, we give 10% off the regular tour rates. Groups must make one payment and not individual payments. Whomever books the group will be responsible for the group payment. You must get your group to reimburse you. Please remember that you will be charged for cancellations within the cancellation period and no shows.
We are an extreme outdoor adventure opportunity. We do understand that sometimes people are not able to overcome their fear of heights and choose not to participate in the tours. Unfortunately, we are not able to rebook the slot. The guest will be charged the price of the first tour only.
DO NOT wear sandals, flip flops, open toed shoes or shoes without a back! Do NOT wear shoes with the toes in them (five fingered shoes are a no no). If you do, you will NOT be allowed onto the tour and you will be charged for the tour even though you don’t go!!!
If you have long hair, wear it in a pony tail. Do not wear short shorts or shirts that are strapless. This is due to the gear that you will be putting on. And yes, you must wear a shirt, preferably with sleeves!
Make sure you have deep pockets or pocket with a zipper or Velcro type closure if you will be bringing keys, wallets or anything else you do not want to lose. If you do lose it at 200 ft, you will not get it back!
You can bring a camera. Just make sure it has a wrist or neck strap on it. Yes, you can wear a fanny pack or light weight back pack.
Please arrive 30 minutes BEFORE your tour time. If you are late, you will not be able to go out on your tour and you will be charged in full for each slot scheduled. We can’t delay the tour because you are late. This is not fair for our on time guests. We will not guarantee you a spot on any other tour either. Please plan your travel time wisely and remember any zone and time changes.
Yes, Yes, Yes. We fill up quickly and if you do not make a reservation you will not be guaranteed a spot on the tours. It is not pleasant for you or us if you just show up and we can’t get you on a tour!
Cancellation and Transfer Policies
- If a customer requests to cancel his or her reservation 24+ hours in advance, a $20 processing fee will be applied, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the card used to make the reservation.
- If a customer requests to cancel his or her reservation LESS THAN 24 hours in advance, he or she will be obligated to pay his or her balance in full.
- If a customer requests to transfer his or her reservation to a later date 24+ hours in advance, a $10 transfer fee will be applied, and the remaining balance will be returned to the customer on a digital gift card via email. This gift card is valid for FIVE years. Rescheduling reservations is the responsibility of the customer. Gift cards are NOT refundable.
- If a customer requests to transfer his or her reservation to a later time or date LESS THAN 24 hours in advance, he or she will not be permitted to transfer his or reservation and be obligated to pay his or her balance in full.
- DISCLAIMER: Screaming Eagle Adventure Parks cannot guarantee that requested transfers to a later time, with LESS THAN 24 hour’s notice, but will do their best to accommodate.
Group Reservation Policy (10+)
- A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of reservation and 100% payment is required at least 10 days prior to the reservation in reference.
- If a group requests to cancel their reservation LESS THAN 10 days in advance, a processing fee, 50% of the total cost, will be applied to the card used to make the reservation.
- If a group requests to transfer their reservation 24+ hours in advance, a transfer fee, 10% of the total cost, will be applied, and the remaining balance will be returned to the group on a digital gift card via email. This gift card is valid for FIVE years. Rescheduling reservations is the responsibility of the customer. Gift cards are NOT refundable.
- If a group requests to transfer their reservation to a later TIME OR DATE LESS THAN 24 hours in advance, they will not be permitted to transfer the reservation.

We will go out in rain. The only time we will cancel on our behalf is in the case lightning within five miles of the course, sustained winds in excess of 35 mph or any other severe weather event determined at the discretion of management. Myrtle Beach Zip Line Adventures will call each scheduled guest to cancel the tours. Please remember, if we do not call you, that means the tour is a go. Sometimes tours may be delayed for a short time for “pop ups”. Please keep this in mind when planning your day.

Guests should be able to climb stairs to reach the top of the departure tower. We ask people with heart conditions, neck and back problems, or pregnant women to not participate, as choosing to zip line could be a health hazard.
FUN, FUN, FUN!!! You will be placed into our safety harness & helmet and given a 30 minute instruction session. Then your guides will take you up the tower and start your tour.
Reservations are preferred. Walk-ins will be placed on the next available tour.
Our staff is professionally trained and care about your safety very much. If we do not allow you to participate, please do not take it personal, your safety is our #1 priority.
Banning Mills & Myrtle Beach Zip Line Adventures reserve the right to refuse anyone access to the tours if we feel it would be unsafe for them, our other guests or our staff. Some examples of someone we might turn away would be a guest under the influence of drugs or alcohol, someone who is over the weight limits, someone that will not or can’t understand or obey the rules, and those who are physically unable to do a zip line canopy tour. We do everything in our power to get guests out on a tour and give them safe access to our tours. However, Banning Mills & Myrtle Beach Zip Line Adventures and their staff will have the final say on any participant going out or continuing on a tour.
You will be required to sign a liability release form before going out on the tour. If you would like for us to email a copy to you, just call or email us your request. Minors must have a parent our guardian to sign this form. The minor must sign the waiver also. Again, we can email this form to you so that you can bring a signed copy with you. Just ask us!
